My day started out pretty lame. I had to go to the doctor's office in BF Canton, the AC in the office was broken and I didn't see the doctor until an hour after my appointment time. She only talked to me for 2 minutes before filling out a prescription and sending me off. Ugh.
After that I had to install some light bulbs and one fell and shattered on me. No worries though, I wasn't injured.
Me, my family and Catherine went to The Cheesecake factory for dinner. I knew they were going to come sing to me so I tried to hide in the bathroom, thinking they would just drop off my cheesecake and leave but no. They waited for me...
After this, Me and Catherine saw The Hangover, which is extremely funny.
Overall, my day wasn't as good as I was hoping for it to be. My dad forgot to get my gift...I mean, come on. How do you forget?
First, he couldn't decide if he wanted to switch phone companies between Christmas and now and then he couldn't find the time to stop by the bank and get the one thing he was going to give me. I'm grateful for getting a gift and everything, but sometimes I feel like It's only because it's convenient for my parents and they have to. After all, the only thing I wanted for my birthday was a new phone and my dad talked and talked about getting me one (only if it was free for him when he upgraded his) but flaked out at the last minute. I hope he at least lets me buy my own phone. Last time I tried to do that (around Christmas '08) he flipped out about how he was going to switch from Verizon to AT&T. Of course this never happened
Tomorrow (June 30th) I'm going to the Verizon store no matter what, I'm just worried that I'll spend money and my dad will switch to AT&T and be all like "If you had waited, I would've gotten you an iPhone"
But I want a phone before I go to NJ...on my birthday...not in August when my dad's contract expires

Finally Home and My Pre-Birthday

So the drive back up from Statesboro was bad. Catherine decided either to race me or annoy me. Halfway back, she could not handle driving with no AC so we switched cars for the remainder.
When we got back, we had dinner at her grandma's and I swung by my Uncle's house to pick up their gift to me.
Tomorrow is my birthday!
Unfortunately, I have to wash my dad's car and I have a doctor's appointment. Also, my dad said we probably are not going to go to the Verizon store to get my new phone... Oddly, that does not sound like a fun way to spend celebrating the day of my birth.
We'll see how tomorrow unfolds, I have an uneasy feeling that it might suck... I mean, come on. What kind of parents makes their kid wash the car on his birthday??
If I do get a new phone, it's probably going to be the Blackberry Storm. I'll attach a picture of it, although most of you know what it is.

2 Days Before My Birthday
So I had to drive down to Statesboro today. It was by-far, the worst time driving. It took about an hour to get out of the Marietta area thanks to crazy morning traffic, a wreck and millions of rubber-neckers. Other than that, it was ok. Oh wait, my stupid CD changer is broken and goddamn Highway 75 near the Hwy 16 exit is too bumby for my main disc player to work without constant skipping.
Sorry about the run-on sentence. I was frustrated. I decided not to go to the first day of drum camp this week so I could spend more time with Catherine. Tomorrow (technically today) I'll have to be at the Foy building at 8:45AM. Shit. Luckily, we are only tracking (marching around on the concrete) at night.
I'm not sure why I even decided to go to this camp, Mike and Chase won't be there on the same day so that only 3 or 4 out the 6 basses will be there at a time. Pretty pointless, and I sure hope we don't get behind due to freaking nobody showing up.
So that's it for today.

So I had a pretty interesting dream last night. I remember waking up and saying "Oh shit, I gotta blog about this"
Sadly, I don't remember my dream anymore
Today was semi-uneventful. I used some coupons and got free Arby's sandwiches. I also went to Cici's for dinner.
I still have to pack for my trip to Statesboro for drum camp. I plan on waking up at 8am and leaving by 9. Hopefully that will put me at Georgia Southern by noon. I also want to burn a Cd, seeing as the ones in my car right now are played out.
Speaking of cars, I know what kinds of cars I want.
First is the Volkswagen Jetta TDI. It's a Jetta that runs on diesel and gets mileage close to that of a Prius.
I really want a Trans Am Firebird, badly. I want either a 3rd Gen (1985 preferably) or a 4th Gen (1999 30th Anniversary)

The First Post

So here it goes, I am just now getting my own blog. I figured it's time to join the rest of the world in doing so. I already have Twitter and facebook but this seems like a more legit way of expressing my feelings and all that other crap.
So I'll start with introducing myself. I'm Michael, a college student from Georgia, currently attending Georgia Southern University and majoring in Psychology. I'm going to be a sophomore come next fall and I play in the drum line. I do have a girlfriend (sorry ladies) and her name is Catherine. You can find her in my friends and she updates a lot more than me. In fact, she probably talks about me a lot so if you want to know more, check out her blogspot.
I'm too lazy to update anymore information today, so I'm going to go downstairs and play video games. By the way, I am the undisputed king of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I don't even use Metaknight either because I don't roll that way
